Here is my acceptance speech – In anticipation of my Oscar for Best New Rottweiler Website October 2016…

Yeah right!   And although those Thank You teary eyed speeches can go on a bit, it is still always nice to be able to thank those who helped and supported in the development of something like this – it is a lot more work than one imagines, especially if you haven’t done it before!  (And, as somebody pointed out – You can’t stay young forever by never updating photos!!)

The most important person I have to thank FIRST – and that is LISA from ICEHAVEN ROTTWEILERS!!  Not even sure how long she managed my website for, but it was a good couple of years – a great relationship and friendship developed between two people who have never met!!  Everything sort of happened at once with her deciding not to spend as much time on websites anymore, and me needing a newer, snazzier, more modern, up to date version of WWW.DELIEMERSROTTWEILERS.CO.ZA

Thank you for all your hard work, for putting up with me zipping off a hundred emails at a time, for your love and support – Thank you!!  Best of luck with your brand new baby which is on its way – I got out just in time I think – you would never have had time for me as well!!  xxx

Thank you Jay Alan for all of these great shots - This is my Kimba - Bond's lookalike child! xxx

Jay Alan is a wonderful lady who came out to the farm about a year ago, armed with a very snazzy camera.  Lots of the photos on this site come from her efforts that day – some of them I changed to black and white so that you would remember that she took them after you read this blog!  Thanks so much Jay – for somebody who specialises in Food photography for magazines, you did very well with the dust and the wind and the moving targets!  If you are wanting to contact Jay, you will find her on [email protected].

Where possible I have captioned photos with the names of the people who very kindly went out of their way to send photos – some of the photos on the front page slider cannot be captioned – so I have to quick name all the contributors:  These photos had to be High Resolution and in landscape format – so each one is precious as you can see!

Birthday Boy on Table: Geraldene Coetzee

Beautiful Boy coming out of the sea like a Bond Girl: Alice Moller

Duke van Wyk peering over the wall (Looking for Trouble): Johann Van Wyk and family

Epic family shot in the road: Samantha Leigh Erwee

Black and white shots in the slider: Jay Alan

Goofy shot of Max: Kate Lapacz – some other shots of our boy on the website as well.

Elsewhere on the site you will find contributions by Serenda Boshoff, Marieta Swanepoel- (My friend Biddy’s cousin, who doesn’t own a Rottweiler but found out that the Rottweiler belonging to her friends was bred by me and went out of her way to get shots of him), Betsie Knoetse (Rover is a Facebook Celebrity in his own right, and I was very lucky to get free

Paddy Stroh - still going strong after all these years!

photos haha!)  Karien Nel – thank you for your famous pic of Finn and Wiley which scored so many likes on Facebook as well – and also Hans Nel and family for their three girls who posed so beautifully for the photo on our Females page.

Neill van Tonder – what can I possibly say about Neill van Tonder – besides that he is the best looking friend I have? (Yip, he is – The rest of you are just gonna have to get over it!)  Thank you Darling, for running our Adwords for so very long, for redoing our whole website a couple of years ago just for fun – and it was fabulous from day one!  For not allowing me to settle on anything for this site until it was perfect – Thank you!!  Everything is for nothing if you don’t have friends to love and support you and I hope that one day I will be able to help you with something just as important to you! xxx

HiResLogoI have asked our new Website man, Werner Fettke from Industrial Revolution, Thank you Werner!  I have tried very hard not to be a High Maintenance client – Thank you so much for your patience (and for not slapping me) when you had to explain how to do that for the 17th time!  You are most welcome to call Werner or contact him on this link – all except Rottweiler Breeders because after this he never wants to see another Rottweiler or Breeder of Rottweilers EVER AGAIN!

Lola - We just can't resist Lulu and Bond's girl photographed by her Mom, Karen Schouwink!
