Common sense is the most important factor in training any dog – with Rotties if you remember that you are the boss then things usually go quite smoothly. Rotties are extremely intelligent (they outfox me all the time!) – and the discovery of just how far he or she can push you is their greatest joy – take up the challenge and you will have a wonderful time!

Training and socialisation of your puppy can be a great family fun activity, and the Meridian Rottweiler League is certainly one of the the best place for Rottweiler training in JHB. (Depending on what you are looking for of course!) The other big attraction is that more than half of most classes are made up of puppies from De Liemers Rottweilers – so comparing litter siblings can also be lots of fun!
